Choosing Health

Reducing the prevalence of smoking remains one of the primary targets in the ‘Choosing Health’ White Paper. Published in November 2004, ‘Choosing Health’ builds on the foundations laid down by Smoking Kills  and emphasises the importance of reducing overall smoking prevalence and setting a challenging new target to reduce it to 21% or lower by 2010.
