Welcome to Derbyshire Action on Smoking

Derbyshire Action on Smoking is the county's alliance of statutory and other agencies, working together to improve the health of Derbyshire residents and visitors by eliminating or reducing their exposure to tobacco smoke.

Smokefree Derbyshire has 6 main objectives: preventing the uptake of smoking amongst children and young people preventing the illegal and underage sale of tobacco products Supporting businesses and other organisations to comply with smokefree legislation helping and supporting people stop smoking increasing awareness of tobacco products and their consequences to health encouraging people to adopt the benefits of smokefree environments including smokefree homes and cars.   For more information on this please read the DAS Action plan.
